The newly acquired property—spread over 47,000 sq. meters in SIIDCUL Industrial Area—comes from Nainipanel Industries Pvt. Ltd. and will be used to expand production of semi-finished goods like soles and uppers, as well as footwear assembly.
Capacity Expansion in the Works
Current Capacity: 8.4 million pairs of uppers and 30.7 million pairs of footwear assembly per year.
Utilization: Uppers at ~80% and Assembly at ~75%.
Planned Addition: Another 7.2 million pairs each for uppers and assembly.
Timeline: Within 2.5 years (by FY 2027-28).
Investment: Roughly ₹230 crore, funded through internal accruals.
This capacity boost aligns with Campus’s strategy of backward integration and scaling up to meet growing demand in India’s sports and athleisure market.
India’s sneaker and sports shoe market is booming, with younger consumers shifting toward homegrown labels that balance style, affordability, and performance. For Campus, owning and expanding its own manufacturing base allows tighter cost control, faster response to trends, and better margins in the long run.
